Our highest elevation site at 2128 m, Mt Potts is also one our sites very exposed to wind.
Records start in 2009. Snow depth varies wildly from year to year – in most years, very little accumulates due to strong winds, but a large dump in May 2021 during flooding in the Canterbury foothills produced a deep snowpack through the winter.
