Bountyella morgani, the new genus and species of bryozoan recently named. It is based on a single specimen of an unusual erect colony which stands about 3 cm tall. It has been collected just north of the Bounty Islands, south if New Zealand. The right image is taken by Scanning Electron Microscope and shows the details of the separate zooids that make up the bryozoan colony (the image is about 3 mm across).
