Spectroscopy

Spectroscopy is the splitting of light into its constituent wavelengthes to gain insight on environmental processes. NIWA uses spectroscopy in various projects, for example the Fourier Transform Infra-red Spectrometer (FTS) to measure trace gases in the atmosphere.
