July 2010 river flows
July river flows were variable across New Zealand. It was a dry month in the much of the west of both islands, and flows were far below normal in many western areas. in contrast, flows were well above normal in parts of the East Cape and Bay of Plenty.
River flows, May to July 2010
Flows over the last three months (May to July 2010) were well above normal in much of the east of both islands. The west and south of the South Island experienced below normal to well below normal river flows.
