For the past couple of days we have been sampling off L’Esperance Rock, seen here. It’s not a very big Island, and doesn’t even warrant the word island in its name. This was the view from the ship yesterday – today the view has changed somewhat, there are grey skies and white caps on the waves and the ship is moving around noticeably more.
