Biography
Alex is a science leader who is passionate about achieving impact from the investment in science. With extensive experience in research strategy, investment and evaluation, Alex joined NIWA after a decade in government policy advisory and as a science investment manager. Prior to that, Alex carried out atmospheric research at British Antarctic Survey in Cambridge UK, University of California at Berkeley, and Forschungzentum Jülich in Germany.
