Biography
I am a Micrometeorologist and my research focuses on understanding the exchange of energy and greenhouse gases (carbon dioxide - CO2, methane - CH4, water vapour - H2O, and nitrous oxide - N2O) in natural and agricultural ecosystems to quantify the overall climate impact of management practices and land-use changes. I combine eddy covariance measurements with meteorological, hydrological and environmental data to explore functional relationships between ecosystems and the atmosphere, helping to develop climate change mitigation strategies.
