A hagfish was brought up in a beamtrawl on Nov 6th (Day 4) and the slime was amazing! Hagfish are part of an really ancient group of fish called the Agnatha, and lack proper jaws. Their earliest fossil records dates back to around 550 million years ago.
Recently, a video has been released showing how hagfish evade predators.
