Senior hydrological scientist and group manager involved in range of research and commercial projects relating to surface and groundwater resource monitoring, modelling, forecasting, and management. Responsible for day-to-day management of hydrology team staff and strategic planning for business development. I am also project manager and director for multiple projects and involved in development of stakeholder and client relationships. I lead research and consulting projects across a broad range of issues in water resources management, flood risk and mitigation, hydro-power generation, and water use by primary industries.

Course director of Environmental Sciences programme at campus in China. Led teaching and research in hydro-informatics, GIS, remote sensing, and hydrological modelling (InfoWorks; GoldSim). Research for municipal government on surface water quality and impacts of sea-level rise on flood risk.
