Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu: Below to well below normal rainfall experienced since June in Vanuatu and since July in Papua New Guinea with below normal rainfall forecast over the next 3 months.

Fiji, Tonga, New Caledonia: Below to well below normal rainfall observed for 4 (New Caledonia) and 5 (Fiji & Tonga) of the past 6 months. Below normal rainfall is forecast from November to January.

Solomon Islands, Samoa, Southern Cook Islands: Below to well below normal rainfall observed for 3 (Solomon Islands) and 2 (Samoa and Southern Cooks Island) of the past 6 months. Below normal rainfall is forecast for all three island groups from November to January.

Marquesas: Below to well below normal rainfall observed over the past 6 months. The forecast for the coming 3 months is for normal or above normal rainfall
