The fishery starts on 1 December and continues until the catch limit has been caught. It is typically completed by the end of January and is influenced by sea ice contraints on access to preferred fishing areas, and the number of vessels participating. For each year the plot shows the proportion of fishing events per day. The middle day of the fished season is indicated by the horizontal line.
