The intricate structure of this adult male nematode of the genus Metadasynemella is captured beautifully when magnified 400 times under a compound microscope. The specimen is about 0.75mm across, and was collected from an area on the Chatham Rise, east of mainland New Zealand, rich in phosphorite nodule deposits.
