Never before seen footage. This amazing footage was captured by our ROV in the Fiordland Sounds.
The footage is of :
- Rock lobster
- The white "trees" that are actually rare black coral colonies (an animal).
- The yellow fans that are horny coral colonies, scientifically known as gorgonian corals.
- The rare and protected red coral.
- fish swimming above the coral forest are butterfly perch and they feed on tiny animal plankton.
