2016, Bachelor of Science, Physics and Geophysics, University of Auckland
Ayushi currently works as an air quality scientist/ technician at NIWA and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in physics and geophysics from University of Auckland, New Zealand. She has over three years of experience in air quality research and management in New Zealand. Ayushi specializes in scientific programming and empirical modelling of emissions using various statistical and GIS platforms.
Her current research activities include evaluating spatio-temporal relationships between local emissions and meteorology in small towns with persistent air quality problems, looking at spatial variation in traffic-related air pollution based on long-term monitoring networks, using low cost technology in understanding wood burning drivers and characteristics in New Zealand homes, and using air quality models as urban planning tools.
