The Unseen: sciart exhibition launch
If you're in Nelson around Easter make sure you stop by Albion Square to see the sci-art-education exhibtion, The Unseen.
There will be community workshops open to all. These will contribute to the large collaborative artwork, which has so far involved 1,500 school children and 15km of rope!
The project is led by Auckland University's graduate student, Gabby O'Connor, who is based at NIWA Wellington. Gabby has been working with communities and school children to explore the risks associated with the environment and climate change, and how this might affect the way we manage New Zealand's marine ecosystems.
