Our Far South National tour

31 July 2012 (All day) to 16 August 2012 (All day)

In February 2012 Our Far South an expedition exploring the subantarctic islands, the Southern Ocean and Antarctica took place. Forty everyday New Zealanders and 10 experts on the region, including NIWA's Rob Murdoch, took to the sea with the aim of raising New Zealanders' awareness of the area.

This tour is an opportunity to hear about the trip, what was learned and why conservation of this region is so important.

For more information and to book tickets see the Our Far South National tour page

Tickets cost $20 with all proceeds going to the Million Dollar Mouse appeal, raising funds to eradicate mice on the Antipodes Islands.
